Chris and Jennifer

Last week I was invited to be a second shooter for Chris and Jennifer's amazing wedding.  It was a perfect day from start to finish.  I was so happy to shoot the wedding and so happy for this beautiful couple.  

David of David Blair Photography took me under his wing and showed me all of his wedding photography magic. It really was a great day all around and I am so grateful for all the things he taught me.

Zoo Birthday Party

Yesterday may have been the best day of my daughters life.  In the morning she got to go play at her friends Abigail's house while Rachel was at bible study and in the evening she got to go to Abigail's birthday party at the zoo.  Not only did Georgia get to see Abigail twice in one day, but she got to go to the zoo, and there were a bunch of other fun kids there too.

I would normally not put a blurry and poorly framed shot up on the blog, but this moment was too cute to pass up.  Georgia saw all the other kids with their cool animal masks on and wanted one of her own.  She finally got one.  She got a giraffe.  This is a picture of the very first thing that she did after we put the mask on her.  She let out a terrifyingly loud "roooaaaaarrrrr!!!" That is what giraffes say.

The Louisville Zoo has about 7 of these guys running around uncaged all day.

This is Jennifer and Kate.  Jennifer was my second shooter for Steve and Amy's wedding.  She is pretty rad...

Fountain

I went with my brother over to a great neighborhood in old Louisville.  The street is lined with huge 3 story homes that are all over 100 years old (I think?).  In the middle of the street is a tree covered grassy lawn that is at least 50 feet wide.  There are real fire burning lamps lining this grassy median and in the middle of it all, there is a fountain.
