Animals

We are updating Georgia's room because Henry will be here in a week or two.  I took this picture in the park with Georgia's animals.  We have a frame that is 12 inches by 35 inches.  I am trying to decide if I like this or not.  I had a vision of what it would look like and this is not what I had envisioned.  We will see...

If you click on the picture it should open in a different window and appear bigger

Night with Randy

My brother Randy flew in yesterday and will be here for only two days.  He took me out shooting in downtown Louisville after the sun went down.  Here are a few pictures that I like:

Brilliant Bows

I have a friend named Stephanie that makes bows.  The bows are pretty amazing and Rachel buys them up like crazy.  They are tiny little intricate creations that are durable and look great on little girls.  I would highly recommend going over to her site and seeing all the bows that she makes.  www.brilliantbows.com

Before I started photographing these bows I was not incredibly interested in them and I did not know their features.  (I am, as you well know one of the toughest 4 men alive)  But as I have handled them and fluffed them for pictures I can say that each of these bows is a piece of art.  Stephanie hand makes them all and they all look spectacular.  Not only that, they are tough and they stay in place... even at the playground.

Here are the two new bows for June.  Thats right, this is a sneak preview.

So here is the plan:
Women - Go and check out the website and see how diverse and great these bows are.
Men - Go to the website and pick a couple pretty bows.  When you give them to your wife to give to your daughter it will be as good as getting a present for your wife.  Men, you may see the price and think you should just go over to Wal-Mart and buy theirs.  Trust me when I say that there is a huge difference between these bows and those.  Do the right thing for you family.

Steve and Amy's Wedding

Here are the pictures from Steve and Amy's amazing wedding.  When I did my first selection I chose 58 pictures to blog.  I am not sure blogger can handle that many so I had to narrow it.  It was tough, but here are my favorite 25.  Along with being beautiful, Steve and Amy have two OUTGOING and funny personalities.  I could blog another 25 of funny expressions and circumstances.

Flynn, Julie, & Pilgrim

Flynn has been one of my best friends since high school.  He went to school at Duke and I stayed on the west coast for college.  After college we both worked different jobs across the country from each other until we both decided independently to go back to school in Louisville.  It has been great living in the same city again.  Flynn just learned this past week that he was hired at a church in Durham working with college students.  He will be leaving in a few weeks and I am happy for him, but sad to see him go.

I was really excited to go out and shoot some great pictures of Flynn with his beautiful bride Julie and their little pup Pilgrim.  At the end of the shoot Flynn declared that he was clearly the least attractive of the three of them.  If I remember right, Julie objected slightly... or maybe she didn't.

Preview of Steve and Amy's Wedding

On Saturday I shot Steve and Amy's wedding.  It was a really good time.

I think it was in this moment that Steve most regretted have 14 groomsmen.

I have about 6 blogs coming in the next couple days including a full blog of Steve and Amy's wedding.  Come back and see all that has been going on.
